This is the month to finally buy the new or used Toyota you’ve been eyeing. It is true that buying a car in December may just get you the best deal of the year. It may not seem like the most opportune time of the year, with all the holiday shopping draining your wallet, but ‘tis the season for a great car deal. In fact the ten best days to buy fall between December 14th and the 31st.

Even though we’re approaching 2010 on the calendar, automobile manufacturers began their 2010 year during the past summer. Some of the earliest 2010 car and truck models were being rolled out as early as July. This means dealerships are at their max as far as inventory is concerned.

Due to the recession over the past years, it seems automaker may have overshot the 2009 year for the industry. This means dealerships are filled with the 2009 models and are having a difficult time trying to expand for the 2010 models. It’s a car buyer’s dream come true. As of January 1, 2010 the prices of the 2009 models will drop dramatically because they will officially bear the label of last year’s model. The dealerships are going to do whatever they can to move them out before the turn of the year.

Research has shown that the best deals on car buying usually fall on a Saturday. Also, dealerships may be more inclined to take a lower offer on a car towards the end of the month. That being said, shopping for a new or used Toyota at the end of the week, as well as, the end of the month, may prove to be the perfect recipe for the perfect car deal. It’s worth the year long planning and saving to cash in on a deal that only comes around once a year.

Looking for a car that is safe, affordable, and dependable?  Look no further.  The 2010 Toyota Corolla is the car for you. The Corolla is in a class where sporty cars have taken over for a hefty price.  While other companies are focusing on their sporty vehicles, gaining points in that area, Toyota presents you a very affordable car that delivers safety and dependability as its main features.

Safety? Not an issue with the 2010 Toyota Corolla.  The Corolla scored four out of five stars in front crashes and rear passengers’ protection in side crashes.  Four out of five stars means that the passengers involved in an accident in those areas will be completely unharmed up to ninety percent of the time.  The Corolla also scored five stars for driver’s protection in side crashes.  For vehicles in the Affordable Small Cars class, the class that the Corolla is in, this is a near perfect rating.  The most respected organization that offers a review on vehicle safety, the (IIHA) Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, gave the Corolla it’s highest rating.  Not too many cars obtain the IIHA’s highest rating, so that says a lot for the Corolla.

It doesn’t stop at Safety, dependability is another strong point for the Toyota Corolla.  J.D. Power and Associates gave the Toyota Corolla an 8 out 10 possible points in Reliability.  J.D. Power and Associates generate a score based on several studies performed on parts installed in the vehicle being rated and the vehicles reputation over the last three years.  The tests are pretty accurate, earning J.D. Power and Associates, the most respected organization in reliability ratings to date.  Toyota is proud to have vehicles known for their dependability, and they put a warranty behind it that you can feel comfortable with.  Toyota has a three-year or 36,000-basic warranty, and a five year or 60,000 mile powertrain warranty.
